The best postcard mailing service for realtors is the one that matches how you choose addresses. A radius around a listing is Thanks.io Neighbor Blast, on Business at $49 a month. Whole carrier routes are USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) through a local printer. Your own list of past clients goes through Thanks.io, Postalytics or Handwrytten. For direct mail to farm a neighborhood, USPS names realtors among the senders it pitches EDDM Retail to, and Thanks.io's help center describes Neighbor Blast settings for Just Listed sends.

Radius mailing around a listing: Thanks.io Neighbor Blast

Neighbor Blast is a campaign type on Business and Professional. Add an address to the campaign's list, from a CSV, a CRM or by hand, and Thanks.io finds the neighbors around it and mails them. You set 5, or 10 to 200, neighbors per address, and the delay can be as short as 1 day for a Just Listed send.

Neighbor records are bought per address at $0.05, up to 2,500 records a purchase, and the piece rate is on top: a 4x6 postcard is $0.77 on Business at Standard Mail. Thanks.io says coverage varies by area.

An agent can buy radius records and mail them on Pay as you go at $0 a month; the automated Neighbor Blast needs Business. Business costs less than Pay as you go on 4x6 postcards from about 137 pieces a month at First Class. The Thanks.io Business plan page has its other features.

Whole carrier routes: USPS EDDM

EDDM Retail sends a piece to every address on the routes you pick in the USPS online tool. USPS Notice 123, effective October 4, 2026, lists EDDM Retail flats up to 3.3 ounces at $0.26 a piece in postage. A mailing is at least 200 and up to 5,000 pieces per day per ZIP Code and needs no special permit. It is addressed to Postal Customer, so no list is needed, and a printer prints it.

EDDM Retail pieces are flats, so a 6x11 inch card qualifies and a 4x6 or 6x9 card does not. DMM 143 bars personal information and handwritten or typewritten matter on the piece. This page is not legal advice. EDDM vs direct mail has the steps.

Your own list: postcards and notes to past clients

Thanks.io sends your own list by CSV at $1.18 a 4x6 postcard on Pay as you go with no minimum, and Pay as you go mails First Class, per its help center. For 100 4x6 postcards in a month, the pricing page's calculator, at its Standard Mail setting, totals $118.00 on Pay as you go and $126.00 on Business.

Postalytics prints 4x6 postcards to your own list at $1.081 at First Class on a $0 plan, with printing, postage and paper included. Handwrytten sends pen-written notes: Pro is $449 a month on Pay Monthly plus $1.99 a card, with postage on top. Best direct mail service compares the other kinds of help.

Which option fits which farm

  • One listing's neighbors: Neighbor Blast by radius.
  • Every home on named routes: EDDM through a printer, from 200 pieces, with no names on the piece.
  • Past clients by name: Thanks.io or Postalytics postcards, or Handwrytten notes.

EDDM needs at least 200 pieces, and Neighbor Blast needs Business or Professional.
