Is Thanks.io legitimate, safe or a scam? Its pricing page publishes plan fees of $0, $49 and $199 a month and per-piece rates, dated July 12, 2026, and its terms are dated October 22, 2026. Thanks.io says it prints, assembles and mails each piece from its US facility in Texas, and its help center says operations are based in Alaska, handling paperwork, finances and returns.

Its About page says it was founded in 2017. Its terms are governed by Alaska law, with disputes that may go to binding arbitration.

Thanks.io terms on cancellation and refunds

Thanks.io's pricing page says you can cancel a plan at any time with one click and have no commitments, while its terms, updated October 22, 2026, call a yearly plan a twelve-month commitment, so treat a yearly payment as a commitment and use monthly billing until a first campaign has worked.

The terms add that cancellation does not refund earlier billing periods, and that Thanks.io offers no refund for unused services. It may issue a one-time courtesy refund, at its discretion, when a plan is canceled shortly after a renewal. Purchased credits are non-refundable, and a postal delay is not grounds for a refund by itself. Thanks.io may raise or add fees on 10 days' notice, and a billing dispute must be raised within 90 days of the charge.

Pick Handwrytten or Simply Noted when a written refund window matters more than a per-piece price. Handwrytten's guarantee page offers 100% money-back for 90 days after purchase, with exclusions. Simply Noted's guarantee page gives 30 days, while its refund policy gives 15.

Addresses, automations and health records

Thanks.io runs the USPS change-of-address check (NCOA) on every send, and its help center says the printed address may differ from the one you entered. At Standard Mail there is no USPS tracking and undeliverable pieces are discarded, while First Class pieces return to your return address.

Automations are yours to test: the terms make you responsible for mailings your configured automations generate, and a running campaign charges your account for each card it mails.
