PostGrid's Starter plan is $0 a month for up to 500 mailings a month, 1 user and 10 templates. Its USA rates are $1.059 a letter and $0.902 a 4x6 postcard at First Class, and its prices include printing, processing and postage. A 6x9 postcard at Standard class is $0.987, and PostGrid says Standard class must be marketing in nature. PostGrid vs Lob: another print-and-mail API
On Lob vs PostGrid pricing, the entry plans are alike. Lob's Developer plan is $0 a month for up to 6,000 mailings a year, which Lob's help center counts as 500 a month, the same cap as PostGrid's Starter. Lob's 4x6 postcard at First Class is $0.905 there, against PostGrid's $0.902.
Past the entry plan, Lob prices by yearly mailings and users. Startup is from $260 a month for up to 75,000 mailings and 3 users, with 4x6 postcards from $0.645. Growth is from $550 a month for up to 150,000 mailings and 5 users, with postcards from $0.615. Lob bills its print and postage rate beside the plan fee. See best direct mail API for limits and test modes.
Thanks.io and Postalytics: dashboards with campaigns
Thanks.io's Pay as you go plan has no monthly fee, the same as PostGrid's Starter. A 4x6 postcard is $1.18 with printing, a digitally rendered handwriting-style message and US postage inside the rate. Pay as you go mails First Class, per Thanks.io's help center. Full API access comes with every plan, and the dashboard takes a CSV or Excel upload that the help center ties to no plan.
Campaigns, webhooks and the Zapier, Make and Integrately connectors need Business at $49 a month or Professional at $199 a month. On 4x6 postcards at First Class, Business costs less than Pay as you go from about 137 pieces a month, and Pay as you go costs less below that. Compare Thanks.io vs PostGrid and Thanks.io vs Lob.
Postalytics prints postcards, letters and self-mailers. Its Free plan is $0 a month, with a 4x6 postcard at $1.081 at First Class and no 4x6 price at Standard in its tables. Smart Send and triggered drip campaigns are on the Free plan, and drips use credits bought in blocks of at least 100. Marketer is $199 a month and Pro and Agency is $399, billed monthly.
Click2Mail and PostPilot: per-job and online-store tools
Click2Mail has no plan and no pricing page. Each product page carries a cost estimator. For a 4.25 x 6 inch postcard at the estimator's default settings and First Class, one piece is $2.491 because of a $2.00 minimum charge on production, 500 pieces are $0.780 each and 5,000 are $0.709 each. Postage is $0.495 of the one-piece and 500-piece prices. The minimum is waived for buyers of account credit.
PostPilot's Free plan has no platform fee, so you pay only for postcards and postage. Growth is $99 a month billed monthly, with 4x6 cards from 68 cents. PostPilot frames its buyer as an online store: the Growth card says brands doing $1m to $3m a year in sales, and its FAQ recommends at least $3M in annual store revenue.
